Brooding through the thicket of thought
We carry loads and supplies we will never need
We look to the light and still don’t pay heed
Gentle satin tibuchina leaves caress your face
You melt into the moment with longing ache
The leaves leave the wind to take care of raking
Them into chaotic strands of hair in the wind

Although rose scents of midnight moss
remind you of opportunities lost
You stand rooted unshakeable
